The Frederick Honors Student Council is an organization designed to promote the concerns, interests, and needs of the Frederick Honors College student body. The student council aims to give students a voice in Honors College decision-making, host events to connect students to one another, and communicate Honors-related opportunities to students. Student Council President
Sydney Kelley is a fourth-year student at the University of Pittsburgh studying economics and political science with a minor in history and a certificate in global Health. She hopes to attend law school after graduating, with ambitions to work at the intersection of law and policy. She is from Ellicott City, Maryland. She is excited to serve as the FHC Student Council president for the 2023-2024 academic year!
Executive Vice President
Isaac Gamwo is a third-year student at the University of Pittsburgh who is studying pre-medicine and psychology with a minor in chemistry and French and a certificate in conceptual foundations of medicine. He plans on attending medical school after graduation and pursuing a career in radiology. He is from Murrysville, PA and is excited to serve as the FHC Student Council Executive Vice President for the 2023-2024 academic year!
Director of Administration
Megumi Barclay is a second-year student at the University of Pittsburgh studying English nonfiction writing on the pre-physician track with a minor in music and a certificate in conceptual foundations of medicine. She also participates in the marching band, symphony orchestra, and symphonic band. Megumi plans on attending physician assistant school after graduating pursue a career as a PA here at UPMC. She is from Easton, PA and is excited to serve as the FHC Student Council Director of Administration for the 2023-2024 academic year!
Vice President of Programming
Gloria Kehinde is a Pitt senior from Reading, PA serving as the Vice President of Programming for the 2023-24 school year. Majoring in neuroscience with a minor in chemistry and a certificate in American Sign Language, she plans on obtaining a doctorate of physical therapy in the future. She is super excited to get started!
Vice President of Finance
Nithin Kodali is a third-year student at the University of Pittsburgh. He is majoring in computational biology with a minor in chemistry and economics and a certificate in conceptual foundations of medicine. Nithin hopes to attend dental school post-graduation. He is from Kansas City, Kansas. He is excited to join the FHC council as VP of Finance and hopes to make the most out of it!
Vice President of Communications
Aaliyah Smith is this year's FHC Vice President of Communications. She is a Pittsburgh native and a current fourth-year student in the College of General Studies, majoring in natural sciences on the pre-physician assistant track with a minor in studio arts and a certificate in conceptual foundations of medicine. Aaliyah plans to work as an EMT during her gap year before heading back to school to become a PA. She is looking forward to working with the rest of the Student Council to make sure everyone gets the most out of their Honors College experience in the upcoming year!
