As a transfer student from another academic institution, you can apply for the Frederick Honors College degree program as part of your regular application to Pitt. The application will consider your academic performance, as well as your response to one of the following essay prompts:
- What is something you would like to see change in the world? Explain why.
- If you had 10 minutes and the attention of a million people, what would your TED Talk be about?
- What does it mean to be “educated”?
Transfer applications will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are considered for fall term admission. Applications may be submitted after August 1.
