Elliott & Louis Finkel Endowed Scholarship Fund for Student Research

The Elliott & Louis Finkel Endowed Scholarship Fund for Student Research supports undergraduate student research projects in the Honors College, specifically independent research in the humanities, social sciences, and physical sciences. Research can be conducted on or off campus, but must have a faculty mentor.

Who should apply?

Intellectually curious undergraduate students who are excelling academically (3.25+) at the University of Pittsburgh, involved with the University Honors College, and who are pursuing or want to pursue independent research in the social sciences, humanities, or physical sciences. Students who apply need to provide a research abstract in their application and be working with a faculty mentor who can write a letter of recommendation for the award application.
