Jason joins the Frederick Honor College after serving for 13 years as an academic advisor in the Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts & Sciences. Prior to joining the Honors College, Jason spent one year at Per Scholas, a non-profit free tech training program, where he worked as the Senior Manager of Recruiting & Admissions. In his role at Per Scholas, Jason's mission was to help bridge the gap for women and minorities in the tech field and bring stable careers to people in Pittsburgh as well as the surrounding areas.
Jason is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati where he earned a full athletic scholarship. Outside of working in higher education, Jason dedicates his time to coaching girls flag football as the Head Coach for Moon Area Tigers Girls Flag Football team as well as Pittsburgh Flag Football League, which is the largest youth program in Allegheny County.
